Student Wellbeing

Coquitlam College recognizes the significance of fostering a positive environment that supports the mental and emotional needs of its students. To this end, we are thrilled to announce a series of enriching workshops aimed at helping students explore the happenings in their lives, providing strategies and tools to tackle challenges, and promote overall well-being.

Our mental health and wellness workshops, facilitated by our experienced counselor Meghan along with various experienced guest speakers, are designed to equip students with knowledge, practical skills to efficiently navigate these challenges.

1) Coping with Anxiety: Students who wish to gain practical skills and techniques to navigate anxiety and reclaim control over their lives

2) Stress Management: Stress is an inevitable part of college life, but learning how to manage it can greatly enhance over-all well being

3) Substance Use: We aim to provide accurate information, facilitate open dialogue, and empower students to make informed choices in order to develop effective coping strategies and lead a healthy life style
