The Future Leaders in Service Scholarship is designed to support new domestic students who have demonstrated leadership skills and a strong commitment to community service. This scholarship covers 30% of tuition for up to two years, to a maximum of 30 credits, making higher education more accessible to those committed to leadership and service.
To ensure academic success, scholarship recipients are required to meet with an academic advisor throughout their studies to discuss academic goals, track progress, and receive support and guidance.
Important: Applications must be submitted directly to Coquitlam College. Students referred by agents are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
Be enrolling at Coquitlam College for the first time
Be a domestic student (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or with refugee status)
Meet the admission requirements for your chosen program at Coquitlam College
Official Academic Transcripts – Most recent transcripts showing your academic performance and potential.
Personal Statement – A 500–750 word essay outlining your leadership experience, academic goals, and community service involvement.
Leadership Activity Record – A detailed list or resume of leadership roles (e.g., student council, volunteer coordinator, team captain).
Two Reference Letters – Letters from supervisors, volunteer coordinators, or community leaders who can verify your leadership and service contributions.
