The Future Leaders in Business/Commerce Scholarship is designed to support new domestic students entering Coquitlam College’s University Transfer or High School programs with the goal of transferring to a four-year institution to pursue studies in Business or Commerce. This scholarship covers 30% of tuition for up to two years, to a maximum of 30 credits, helping motivated students take the next step toward a successful career in business.
To help students thrive, scholarship recipients are required to meet regularly with an academic advisor throughout their studies to discuss academic goals, monitor progress, and receive personalized guidance.
Important: Applications must be submitted directly to Coquitlam College. Students referred by agents are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
Be enrolling at Coquitlam College for the first time
Be a domestic student (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or with refugee status)
Meet the admission requirements for your chosen program at Coquitlam College
Official Academic Transcripts – Most recent transcripts showing your academic performance and potential.
Personal Statement – A 500–750 word essay outlining your interest in business or commerce, your long-term career goals, and how this scholarship will support your educational journey.
Two Reference Letters – Letters from teachers, academic advisors, or employers who can speak to your academic achievements, leadership potential, and passion for business or commerce.
