The Community Connections Scholarship is designed to support new domestic students entering Coquitlam College’s Associate of Arts, University Transfer, or High School programs who demonstrate a strong commitment to community involvement and academic excellence. This scholarship covers 45% of tuition for up to two years, to a maximum of 24 credits, helping to make education more accessible for students who actively contribute to their communities.
To support student success, recipients are required to meet with an academic advisor throughout their studies to discuss academic progress, set goals, and receive guidance and support.
Important: Applications must be submitted directly to Coquitlam College. Students referred by agents are not eligible.

Be enrolling at Coquitlam College for the first time
Be a domestic student (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or with refugee status)
Meet the admission requirements for your chosen program at Coquitlam College
Official Academic Transcripts – Most recent transcripts showing your academic performance and potential.
Personal Statement – A 500–750 word essay describing your involvement in community service, how it has shaped your academic journey, and your plans to stay engaged in community work while pursuing your studies.
Two Reference Letters – Letters from community leaders, volunteer coordinators, or supervisors who can speak to your contributions, character, and dedication to service.
