Your grade point average or GPA is a numeric representation of the grades you earned in a set of courses. It is a weighted average and is assessed at the end of each academic session and cumulatively to degree completion
1st Year Courses
Any course that transfers as assigned or unassigned credit to at least one Research University.
2nd Year Courses
Any course that transfers as assigned or unassigned credit at the 200-level or higher to as least one Research University.
Arts Courses
Any course in a subject area for which there is a Baccalaureate of Arts degree at: SFU, UBC, UNBC, or UVIC (Except Business, Computer Science, Math or traditional Sciences).
Elective Courses
Any course that has transferability to one of the four BC Research Universities (SFU, UNBC, UVIC, UBC).
