This course is designed to introduce students to the elements and dynamics of contemporary international relations. It examines the
nature and causes of change in the world arena leading up to the end of the Cold War and introduces students to several theoretical
perspectives in international relations. This course will explore a series of topics on power rivalries, foreign policy, global terrorism, and
humanitarian crisis. These topics will encourage students to critically think about issues in international relations and politics. Lectures
will be followed by discussions, debates, and weekly themes will be supplemented by auxiliary videos.
