This class serves as a foundation course for those students who wish to understand the very beginning of Canada. This class will focus on North American history from 1791-1914 focusing particularly on the rebellion and conflicts that built modern Canada. Special attention will also be paid to the evolution of Canada's cultural identity and its changes through this period.
