English Language Proficiency Requirements
All programs and courses at Coquitlam College require proof of English language proficiency.
The following equivalencies can help determine your English eligibility level (also referred to as ‘English placement’).

If you do not have any of the assessments listed above, you may be required to take the Coquitlam College English Proficiency Test to determine placement for University Transfer/Associate Degree programs. For upcoming test dates, please contact the Registrar’s Office or speak with an Academic Advisor.
Please note that some programs may have additional requirements. A preparatory semester or semesters of English Studies may be necessary to qualify for the University Transfer Program or Associate of Arts Degree. It is highly recommended that you consult with an Academic Advisor during the admissions process to determine the best path forward.
