Text version EditPad - A (free) Text Editor Download and install EditPad Lite
Start up EditPad (click on the Start button on the desktop, and select EditPad from Programs).
Select File -> Save As... and then select the folder to save your file to.
Note: If you're creating a file from a Coquitlam College lab machine,
you need to save to the C:\temp folder.
In the File name: textbox, type in first.html
Your file will be saved in your chosen folder with a file name of first.html
Type in the following text exactly as shown here:

</head>
<body>
<h1>The Year of the Dog</h1>

Now select File -> Save All The latest version of your file is now saved.
You may now quit EditPad, and view your first.html file in a web browser.
